The 2009 Green Residential Building Study Companion is a comprehensive study guide to assist the user in the review and application of the ICC 700-2008 National Green Building Standard (NGBS), and the referenced code sections in the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). The ICC-700 National Green Building Standard was developed as a joint effort between the International Code Council (ICC) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and it is the first national consensus-based ANSI-approved Standard that establishes minimum criteria and definitions for the design and construction of green residential buildings, building sites, subdivisions and renovations.
