2010 Residential Code of New York State

The 2010 Residential Code of New York State is comprehensive and fully integrated custom code based on the 2006 International Residential Code (IRC). It establishes minimum regulations for one- and two-family dwellings and townhomes of three stories or less. This publication features (i) time-tested safety concepts; (ii) innovative construction technology; (iii) updated information to reflect the latest technological advances in building design and construction, and (iv) brings together all building, plumbing, mechanical, fuel gas, energy and electrical provisions for one- and two-family residences.
