Even though Contractor Resource is an online store, we are happy to accept orders placed via telephone or received via fax. If you would like to place a telephone order, just give us a call on our toll-free line during normal business hours. The number is (888) 502-6191 and the phone is attended Monday-Friday from 8am to 3 pm (Pacific). We aren't a large company so if you are unable to reach someone, please leave a message and your call will be returned either that day (if the message is left during business hours) or the following business day (if left at any other time).
We attempt to make the process of purchasing products from us as simple and convenient as possible. Toward that end, we accept a number of forms of payment, including business check, credit/debit card and purchase orders. We even accept PayPal!
For customers that choose to pay by check or money order, please proceed through the shopping/checkout process as if you were going to pay by credit card. Once at the checkout page, simply select "Check / Money Order" under Item 3 - Payment Method. Your order will be entered into our systems and you will be sent, via email, a transaction receipt containing instructions on where to send payment. Once payment has been received, your order will be processed and shipped.

Though orders received during business hours are typically processed the same day they are received, it may take up to 48 hours after an order is placed to process, pack and ship an order. Orders received after business hours, on a holiday or over a weekend are generally processed the next business day. This time is added to the delivering carriers 'transit time' to determine overall delivery time.
Standard delivery orders are sent either via Fed Ex Ground or UPS Ground. Though orders are typically delivered sooner, please allow 7-10 business days for delivery. Deliveries to a PO Box or to Hawaii or Alaska are made via the USPS. Please allow a couple of extra days (beyond the typical window for "standard" deliveries) for these orders.
Express delivery orders, including those sent via 2-day express shipping and 1-day express shipping, are sent via FedEx Standard Overnight service or UPS Next Day Air Saver service and are subject to the delivery standards established by those carriers. Express delivery orders received before 12:00pm (Pacific) are generally processed and shipped the same day. Orders received after 12:00pm (Pacific) are typically shipped the following business day. In some circumstances, orders received after 12:00pm (Pacific) can be shipped the same day (for next business day delivery) but arrangements must be made in advance by contacting us at (888) 502-6191.
Shipment tracking information is made available via follow-up email message where possible, typically the business day following the date of shipment. Registered customers can also retrieve this information from their accounts.
While we strive to make sure all of our customers are completely satisfied with everything they purchase from us, we know that is not always the case. If you would like to return something, please (i) drop us a quick note to let us know you are returning the product (include your name, your order number and the name of the product you are returning) and (ii) ship the product back to the shipper at the address included with your order. Once we receive the returned product, a check in the amount of the price of the returned product will be cut and mailed to the person / company / address indicated as the order's billing contact.
Please note, we are unable to accept returns of software that has been opened or of any products more than 30 days after they have been delivered. We are also unable accept returns of certain pamphlets, booklets or charts, or, because of publisher policy, any materials published by SMACNA, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association.
