2022 California Electrical Code (Title 24 Part 3) is a fully-integrated California-specific electrical code based on the 2020 National Electrical Code. It contains electrical design and construction standards, as well as present minimum standards to safeguard life or limb, health, property and public welfare, and to protect against hazards that may arise from the use of electricity by regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation quality of materials and the location and operation of electrical equipment, wiring and systems.
Effective Date: January 1, 2023.
